"Prayer, counseling, and healing are at the core of ochlos. I want everyone to have someone to talk to — and especially, to encounter Jesus."
Why he built this place.
Pat started Ochlos because the internet didn't have a place that felt right for Christians who wanted to slow down — to actually meet other believers, find resources they could trust, and have somewhere to bring their prayers without performing for an algorithm.
He named it ochlos, the Greek word for "the crowd" or "the meeting place" — the gatherings of ordinary people that pressed in to hear Jesus. Not a temple. Not a stage. A meeting place.
Ochlos is hand-curated, slow, and stays focused on what matters: sound doctrine, real community, real prayer, and real help when life gets hard. If that resonates with you, pull up a chair.
