pray the Scriptures

Pray the Bible.

Pick a Psalm and pray it back to God, verse by verse. Start with the provided prayer line, and expand as your heart or the Spirit calls you to do so — the written words are a doorway, not the destination.

On the roadmap

Sometimes the hardest part of prayer is knowing what to say. Pray the Bible takes that away: instead of reaching for your own words, you pray God’s Word back to Him.

Inspired by the long Christian practice of praying the Psalms, it lets you choose a Psalm and pray a prayer shaped from its words — turning the Psalm itself into your prayer of praise, honesty, and trust.

You don’t have to find the words. They’re already there, in the Psalms.

How it will work

01

Pick a Psalm

Choose any Psalm — one you’re drawn to, one for the season you’re in, or simply the next one as you work your way through.

02

Pray it back

Each verse begins a prayer for you. Start with the provided prayer line, and expand as your heart or the Spirit calls you to do so.

03

Through the Bible

Pray a little each day and move through the Psalms over time — praying Scripture back to God, not just reading it.

Starting with the Psalms

We’re beginning with the Psalms — the Bible’s own prayer book — with room to grow into other parts of Scripture over time. Coming soon.
